Professor of Entomology at the University of Naples (Italy), where in 1990 he received a PhD in Entomology. Research interests in: biosystematics of hymenopteran parasitoids, management of invasive species, biological control and host-parasitoids interactions. He is member of the National Italian Academy of Entomology and the Italian Academy of Forest Science.
