Born in 1971, he earned his PhD in 1998. From 1999 he was a Researcher in Organic Chemistry, until 2011 when he was appointed Associate Professor. The scientific activity in mainly focused on synthetic carbohydrate chemistry. He is co-author of about 90 scientific articles (in more than 50 he is the corresponding author). His h-index (total) is 27, his h-index as a corresponding-author is 23. The ratio h-index corr. auth/h-index (total) is 0.85, one of the highest in his Department.
