Researcher of Ecology at the University of Siena, MS Science in Ecotoxicology of Natural Populations of the University of Reading (UK), PhD in Environmental Biology at the University of Siena (1997), Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Researcher of the Department of Science soil of California Polytechnic State University (US) in 1999. Winner of the Innovation Award of the Embassy of Canada in Italy in 2013. In recent years he has taught courses in Ecology, Ecotoxicology, Applied Ecology and Environmental Management. He has participated in national and international research programs in issues related to ecotoxicology and soil quality assessment.
