Coordinator of the International Network for PhD training in Plant Genetics and Biotechnology (PGB Network) since 2012. Visiting scientist at the Department of Horticulture of the University of Purdue, West Lafayette, Indiana (USA), 1992. Associate researcher at the Department of Botany, University of Durham, UK, 1986-87. Research activities: molecular bases of plant response to biotic stresses stresses, ‘omics’ sciences to study plant-insect interactions, gene manipulations, plant biotechnology for crop protections.
